Hi! My name is Christine and nice to meet you all. My inspiration in art: One of the earliest inspiration I had as a child, when I discovered my passion for drawing, was anime. Anime had been part of my life and still is to this day, had it not been for anime, I wouldn’t have been what I am today as an artist. It was the reason why I began drawing in the first place because it made me really inspired to draw my favourite characters and made paper dolls out of them. It was a fun and memorable childhood. We all get an artist’s block from time to time but for me it felt like time had stopped when I had my longest artist’s block for years. What brought me back on track was Final Fantasy XV. It is an RPG game and I was utterly inspired by this beautiful masterpiece developed by wonderful talented group of people, the music, the story, the characters, and every single thing about it. Most of my drawings nowadays were FFXV inspired. I also have a big heart for nature, every time I look at nature and feel a bit of its nice breeze, it always help me relax and appreciate all the blessings that God gave to me. Last but not least, I have a tremendous passion for music. I do not have a specific genre but I like what captures my heart especially the instrumental pieces from the games I’ve played or anime I’ve watched. Ever since I began pursuing drawing, trying every mediums I could get my hands on, it was like being on adventure to learn new things, experience triumph and to witness the beauty of life. Art brings the beauty of life and I can never imagine the rest of my life without it. Mediums I use: The mediums I use for creating art are graphite pencils, colour pencils, oil pastels, soft pastels, acrylic paints, watercolour, and charcoals. I enjoy using all of these mediums and I’m still looking forward to be good enough at using all of them. These days, I mostly do my art on computer which I find the most enjoyable. Subject: Most of my artworks consist of portraits of the characters I was inspired to make but I also do paintings of nature as it is one of my inspirations to create art. I started doing some Still Life Drawings as well as part of improving my ability to capture what I’m seeing. |
